PUBG Ban: You can play PUBG in India for 6 hours a day only!

PUBG ban - 6 hours playtime restriction in india

PUBG Ban? PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s BattleGround) needs no introduction; the game has engrossed everyone’s attention and time, especially youngsters. The game is so addictive that it has been banned by Indian government in some districts and states. The game is highly addictive and a great time killer BUT this is also causing many issues among youngsters. Students are often found playing relentlessly for hours and sometimes the entire night. This addictiveness is surely affecting their academics and health and this why parents are concerned.

After receiving negative and concerning feedback from parents and pressure from govt. PUBG mobile has put 6 hours limit for Indian players. Which simply means you can only play PUBG for 6 hours in 24 hours. It might be enough for some but some hardcore fans are not happy about this decision. Recently Gujarat banned PUBG in some districts and even arrested some players playing in public area. Seeing the bans and concerns PUBG mobile silently put a time restriction on the game. Many players saw a warning/reminder message after playing continuously for 2 hours followed by another health reminder after 2 hours to take a break from the game. After third warning the player can’t play for some time.

So far only Indian players have reported this time restrictions, rest of the world seems lenient about this. I think it’s a great move by the developers of the game to further reduce bans and to maintain a healthy gaming environment. Though PUBG mobile did not make any official announcement about this and we are also waiting for their statement.
